Trash or Recycle?

Dear Parents,

This week, we are going learn how to take care of our earth and how to make good choices when it comes to cleaning up in science class.

In this first site, there is a game that you can play to see which piece of trash goes into which recycling container. It is a crane just like the one that your child likes to play at the store. Grab the bottle but make sure to make the right choice on where it belongs.

Let's clean up the park. Tell the elephant what material goes in what bin and see what your high score will be. Lets try to conserve the park!

This one is just for fun with your child. It's a word search. See if you can find all the words that have to do with recycling. This will also build your child's vocabulary while you have fun.

Cleaning up in science is very important and it doesn't have to be a task. It can be fun as well. So I will encourage fun ways for my students to clean up at the end of the day.
